During March 19 in Ukraine from the settlements where the active phase of hostilities is going on, 6,623 civilians were evacuated.
This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk. She noted that out of ten humanitarian corridors, eight have worked today.
Donetsk region
From 4,128 people (including 1,172 children) left the city of Mariupol for Zaporozhye.
Nearly 500 Mariupol residents were transported by minibuses from the city of Mangush to Berdyansk, who will be able to take buses to Zaporozhye tomorrow morning.
Buses from Zaporozhye to evacuate Mariupol residents are now arriving in Berdyansk.
– Tomorrow, buses will be on the square in front of the city sports complex in Berdyansk from 9.00. Departure to Zaporozhye is planned at 11:00, — noted Irina Vereshchuk.
Separately, work is underway on the organization of transport for the export of Mariupol residents from Portovoe, Melekino and Nikolskoye.
Kyiv region
- 500 people were evacuated from the village of Bervitsa to Brovary;
- 320 people were evacuated from the city of Bucha to the village of Belogorodka;
- 1000 people were evacuated from the village of Bogdanovka to Brovary;
- from the city of Borodyanka to Bila Tserkva – the evacuation did not take place due to shelling. A second attempt to leave Borodyanka will take place on the morning of March 20.
Luhansk region
- 160 people left the city of Lisichansk for the city of Bakhmut;
- from the city of Severodonetsk to the city of Bakhmut – 160 people;
- from the city of Rubizhnoye to the city of Bakhmut – 45 people;
- from the city of Popasnaya to Bakhmut – 310 people.
Humanitarian supplies (food and medicine) were also delivered to these cities.
Kherson region
Halfway to the destination (Kherson region), the Russian invaders stopped 14 Ukrainian trucks with humanitarian aid, the delivery of humanitarian goods did not take place.
A second attempt to deliver food and medicine to the Kharkiv region will also take place on March 20.
