At least 12 visits by Russian kamikaze drones of the “Shahed” type to Belarus from Ukraine were recorded on the night and first half of January 19.

This is reported by the monitoring project “Belarusian Gayun”.

“The drones were moving through the Polesie Nature Reserve, heading to Komarin, Loyev and Asarevichi. The first group of two “Shakheds” left the north of the Chernihiv region, moving in the direction of Belarus at about 23:50. Later, other events were recorded at 00:49, 01:06, 01:22, 01:24, 02:03 and 04:20,” the report says.

It is reported that the Air Force of the Republic of Belarus did not take off on the night of January 18-19.

Recall that Ukraine is strengthening the border with Belarus, erecting defensive structures and bypassing territories to prevent a possible invasion. At the same time, military exercises are taking place in the Gomel region of Belarus, but there is no threat from strike forces yet. The State Border Service is doing everything to prevent Belarus from being used for an attack, as was the case in 2022.
