More than 1.3 million Russian citizens have been vaccinated against tick-borne encephalitis since the beginning of the year, it is planned to vaccinate more than 2.7 million people.

“Since the beginning of the year, more than 1.3 million people have been vaccinated against tick-borne encephalitis, and it is planned to vaccinate more than 2.7 million people,” the statement on the Rospotrebnadzor website says.

It is noted that acaricidal treatments were carried out on an area of more than 24.5 thousand hectares.

Also, more than 15.3 thousand ticks have been studied in Russia.

Earlier, the sanitary doctor, quality director of the Dobroslav company, Nikolai Dubinin, spoke about measures to prevent tick-borne encephalitis.
