The first case of monkeypox was officially confirmed in the terrorist Russian Federation on July 12.

The sick Russian is in a satisfactory condition. At the same time, the operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus recommends that Muscovites wear masks again in enclosed public spaces.

Russian propaganda media inform about this.

They claim that allegedly the patient returned to the country from a trip to Europe. The persons who have been in contact with the patient have been identified and are under medical supervision.

The patient has a mild form of the virus, there is no threat to life. At the same time, Russians are advised to use a mask and wash their hands after contact with the sick or in case of illness.

Meanwhile, the number of patients with coronavirus is also growing in the Russian Federation. Over the past week, the number of new cases of COVID-19 in Moscow has increased by 57% compared to the previous week. The increase in the incidence is associated with the spread, in particular, of the Omicron strain.

Therefore, Muscovites are again encouraged to wear masks indoors, since new variants of Omicron are more likely to be transmitted from person to person. In addition, the Russians were recommended to be vaccinated or revaccinated.

Over the past day, 559 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Moscow. 560 people were hospitalized.
