Belarus is conducting mobilization exercises with the military commissariats of the Gomel region, training camps for those liable for military service are planned. The exercises will continue from June 22 to July 1.

This was reported by the press service Ministry of Defense of Belarus. They note that the exercises are according to the plan.
According to the statement of the Ministry of Defense, the purpose of the exercises is to check the readiness of the military commissariats to carry out the tasks for their intended purpose, during which the issues of re-staffing the military commissariats by calling up military reserve officers will be worked out.
To create a situation close to real, units will take part in the exercises special operations of the Armed Forces of Belarus.
Note that the Gomel region of Belarus borders on the Kyiv, Chernihiv and Zhytomyr regions of Ukraine.
