Realme phones, which were purchased for the deputies of the VIII convocation of the State Duma, are distinguished by a good price-quality ratio, they are enough for working functionality. The named price of 9.5 thousand rubles is the starting cost of a device suitable for operation. So, in an interview with “Lenta.ru”, Alexander Pobyvanets, a specialist in mobile devices and gadgets, assessed the choice of phones.
Earlier it became known that the State Duma purchased 450 smartphones from the Chinese company Realme. Their number coincides with the number of mandates – apparently, the deputies of the eighth convocation should use the apparatus. The cost of the contract is 4.3 million rubles, 9.5 thousand rubles for a smartphone.
As follows from the terms of the tender, smartphones had to support two SIM cards, work in 4G cellular systems, the screen diagonal should be at least six inches, and the amount of built-in memory should be at least 64 gigabytes. In addition, an eight-core processor, Wi-Fi support, GPS and a fingerprint scanner are required. The winner of the tender, Moscow Sales Center LLC, must fulfill the contract by the end of the year.
A working tool without frills
According to Pobyvanets, the phones of the Chinese manufacturer Realme have good performance at a fairly low cost. He assured that by 2021, mobile device manufacturers have learned how to make devices that can cope with basic office tasks at a loyal price.
In his opinion, the calculated price of one device, which is 9.5 thousand rubles, is exactly the price for which you can buy a device that can be used quite comfortably.
“You have to understand what they will be used for. If it is a tool for reading documents, for example, then such a phone is quite suitable for this. If there are any more complex tasks, then it is not intended for this. As far as I understand, telephones will be used as working tools, that is, they will receive correspondence, and they will be needed for communication, that is, calls and SMS. Such a phone is quite enough for the named functionality. It is unlikely that such a device will be tasked with video editing or analyzing a large amount of data, ”said a specialist in mobile devices and gadgets.
He noted that usually such phones are bought for a year and a half, and then changed. Taking into account that the deputies will use Realme gadgets for at least five years, Pobyvanets added that if the speed of the device decreases, you can always reset the settings and thus extend the comfortable life of the device.
Five years ago, the State Duma bought 500 Alcatel smartphones for 2.6 million rubles. As the deputy of the last convocation Tatyana Tsybizova, a member of the United Russia faction, said, she almost did not use the received smartphone, leaving it to her assistant. At the present time, she must turn in the apparatus. Konstantin Zatulin, a State Duma deputy of the same convocation, confirmed that he did not use his office apparatus, giving it to his assistants and preferring a personal phone.
According to the results of the voting, which took place on September 17-19, “United Russia”, despite the worst result than five years ago on party lists, strengthened its position in the lower house of parliament. She will receive 324 deputy mandates. The Communist Party will have 57 mandates, A Just Russia – For the Truth was able to collect 27 mandates, and the Liberal Democratic Party – 21. The fifth of the past parties “New People” received 13 seats.
