Adam Yandiev
Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Adam Yandiev, who beat heavyweight Sergei Kharitonov, was taken into custody and placed in a pre-trial detention center (SIZO) in Moscow. This was reported by the Telegram channel “112”.
According to the newspaper, the athlete was detained for 48 hours. All this time he will spend in the jail cell.
Yandiyev was detained in the capital the day before, on November 15. According to Kharitonov himself, the cause of the fight was money debt. According to the MMA veteran, Yandiev borrowed about a million rubles from him and refused to return the money.
The fight between Kharitonov and Yandiev took place on November 13. It was noted that the conflict with Yandiyev began after a verbal skirmish. The attacker struck 40-year-old Kharitonov several blows with brass knuckles, after which the fighter was hospitalized. Two criminal cases were initiated against Yandiev.
