There are children among the dead at home.
The number of deaths in the Shevchenko district is growing Kyiv – on Syrts, where a high-rise building was hit by a Russian missile on July 8th. As of 12.00, 11 victims are known.
The mayor Vitaliy Klitschko announced this.
“Rescuers have just pulled out the body of another woman from the rubble of a house on Syrtsa. There are already 11 dead in this house,” the mayor said.
Meanwhile, the State Emergency Service noted that there were four children among the dead. In addition, 25 people were injured due to the strike on a residential building. Emergency operations are currently ongoing.
