Minsk court begins consideration of the case of musician Tima Belorusskikh

The Moscow District Court of Minsk has begun considering a criminal case against musician Tima Belorusskikh (Timofey Morozov), RIA Novosti reports, citing a court representative.

As specified, he is accused of acquiring, using and storing amphetamine weighing 0.0375 grams, acquiring 1.9609 grams of hashish, using it together with another accused, as well as transporting and storing it.

The musician himself, who was on bail, did not communicate with journalists before the court hearing.

Let us remind you that in early January, a 22-year-old Belarusian performer was detained with drugs in one of the Minsk gambling clubs. A criminal case was opened against the musician and his friend. At the end of March, the prosecutor's office referred the case to court. The department noted that both accused fully admitted their guilt.

The musician may face restriction of liberty for up to five years or imprisonment for a term of two to five years.
