Minister of Culture hospitalized with coronavirus in France
French Culture Minister Roselyn Bachelot, who said she tested positive for COVID-19 a few days ago, was hospitalized on Wednesday, BFMTV reported.
The press service of the department reported that the 73-year-old official was taken to the hospital after she developed symptoms of SARS. Doctors will closely monitor the health of the minister. At present, there are no fears on this score, stressed in the apparatus of the Ministry of Culture of France.
Note that Bachelot is the second minister to be hospitalized in recent days due to coronavirus. Labor Minister Elisabeth Bourne was admitted to a hospital in Paris on Monday.
Recall that French President Emmanuel Macron contracted the coronavirus in December last year.
