Earlier, the command of the Belarusian army transferred troops and equipment to the Lithuanian border.
Lithuania has strengthened the protection of part of its border with the Kaliningrad region. Mines and concrete blocks in the shape of dragon teeth were installed there.
This was reported on September 5 by the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense.
The border was strengthened near the Louise Bridge, which connects Lithuania with the Kaliningrad Region of Russia.
“The Louise Bridge is the property of the Russian Federation, so today we can only install obstacles in front of the bridge. Here, the movement of enemy forces could be stopped by our hedgehogs, dragon teeth and barbed wire. In addition to all the above measures, it is also planned to install reserve obstacles – sets of metal beams in the floodplain. The enemy will be hampered not only by the steep slopes of the river, but also by mines, dragon teeth and hedgehogs. It is important to be prepared for any development of events,” said Lithuanian Defense Minister Laurynas Kashchunas.
Earlier we wrote that the command of the Belarusian army transferred 38 units of equipment and about 250 soldiers to the Lithuanian border.
