Milling robot presented in Austria
In Austria, startup Printstones, which has been building robots for five years, has presented a new model – Baubot. The presentation of the mobile bot can be seen on Youtube.
The robot is highly mobile, develops a speed of more than 3 km / h, can be controlled both from the phone and in manual mode. Baubot can completely replace the router. In addition, the robot moves loads with ease. The Baubot can easily enter doorways and stairs.
His skills include drilling, laser cutting, grinding, painting, welding, brick laying. The robotic arm is highly accurate (less than mm), its radius of action is up to one meter.
Earlier, a robotic manipulator for work in space was created in Russia. The device will look like the torso of a man without legs and will copy the movements of the operator, who will be in a special suit on the ISS or at the Mission Control Center in Korolev, Moscow Region.
