Military training will begin in Pridnestrovie: what could this mean

The military meeting will last three months.

In the so-called Transnistria, occupied by Russian invaders, due to the risks of escalation, military training will begin on March 1.

This was reported by the “Ministry of Defense of the unrecognized republic,” propaganda media write.

“The peacekeeping contingent of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic continues to accept applications for participation in the next three-month training camp from March 1,” the message says.

The “Ministry of Defense of the Republic” reported that “Kyiv allegedly stepped up preparations for a provocation with an invasion of Transnistria, which it plans to carry out in response to the alleged offensive of Russian forces from there.”

Recall that earlier the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky told how the Russians can use Transnistria to threaten Moldova and Ukraine. According to him, from the beginning of the war, there were shots from the territory of Transnistria in the direction of Ukraine, the Russians sought to provoke the Ukrainians in this direction.

After that, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Ukraine was preparing “provocations” in this area. Later they said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine were “preparing” for an invasion of Transnistria. The Ukrainian authorities deny this and call it a fake.
