Main points
- The American leader probably does not seek direct conflict with Iran or Russia, despite the US military might.
- According to Alexander Musienko, threats from Iran are theoretical, and Ukraine has already dispelled many fears regarding Moscow’s capabilities.
- Active support from Ukraine's partners, even without joining NATO, could reduce Russia's military pressure, but the West is not yet ready to take decisive steps.
Despite the military might of the United States of America, it appears that the American leader is probably not seeking to enter into direct conflict with either Iran or Russia. The situation in the Middle East and on the territory of Ukraine largely depends on the United States, but it is still difficult to predict the actions of the American administration.
The head of the Center for Military and Legal Studies, military expert, serviceman of the Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Musienko told 24 Kanal that Israel had previously called on the United States of America to join the confrontation with Iran, but the government at that time did not support it. Perhaps the same situation will happen now, because this is usually a constant tactic of the United States.
The US position towards Russia and Iran
According to Alexander Musienko, the threat from Iran, which is assessed in the United States of America, may be real, however, if we talk about Moscow, the story is somewhat different.
Here we have a factor of overestimation of threats that exist from Russia. All because Ukraine has demonstrated in practice in many ways that the concerns and fears that our partners have are unfounded, he said.
The threats from Iran are theoretical. The US fears may or may not be justified. In the case of Ukraine, there are many practical aspects that have already dispelled many warnings about Moscow's capabilities.
Important! Donald Trump warned those calling for the continuation of the war in Ukraine, saying that their words could have serious consequences. He also mentioned that he deserves several Nobel Peace Prizes, but in his opinion, they are awarded only to liberals. In addition, Trump acknowledged that there is a risk of terrorist attacks from Iran or its allies in the event of an escalation.
A real confrontation with aggressors works only when there is political will, because, for example, Ukraine's partners can support our state much more effectively, even without bringing it into NATO. This would reduce Russia's military pressure on Ukrainian territories, but it seems that the West is not yet ready for bolder and more decisive steps.
