Military exercises to begin in Venezuela in the coming days

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said that the Venezuelan armed forces will soon begin to conduct maneuvers.

“The Bolivarian Shield military exercises will begin in the next few days in the second half of October,” he said.

According to the president, during the maneuvers, they will “test the ability to deploy weapons systems.”

Earlier, Maduro announced an emergency situation in Venezuela due to floods.
