Milan Cathedral resumed receiving visitors after a long break

The Cathedral in the historic center of Milan has started receiving visitors again after a long break, RIA Novosti reports.

Visits to the cathedral resumed on Thursday morning. While the attraction can be viewed only on weekdays from 10:00 to 17:00. Visitors are advised to book tickets in advance on the cathedral's website.

Milan Cathedral has been closed to the public since November 5, 2020 due to increased restrictive measures amid the pandemic. At the same time, believers could come to the cathedral to pray and confess. Moreover, participation in divine services was allowed, subject to the established norms.

Recall that from February 1, in most regions of Italy, the restrictive measures introduced to combat the spread of coronavirus were partially canceled.
