In a test build of the proprietary Microsoft Edge browser, we found two useful features. Firstly, now you can open Office documents in the browser, and secondly, there is integration with Windows Search.
All of this is available in Edge Dev 92. The first feature is called the Office Viewer. It allows you to open Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents directly in your browser with one click. This option is compatible with Windows and Mac versions of Edge. This feature saves time because you no longer need to download files and then open them in Office programs.
Another new option is Windows Search integration. This will allow you to use taskbar search to view your browser history, recent tabs, favorites, and more.
