The American corporation Microsoft at an online presentation presented a new version of its operating system Windows 11.
It is noted that Windows 11 will be available through a free update for Windows 10 users and on new PCs in the fall. This process will continue until 2022. For members of the Windows Insider program, an early version of Windows 11 will be available next week.
The creators of the new OS promise a “simple and concise design.” For Windows 11, the Start button and taskbar have been redesigned. New sounds, fonts and icons will appear.
The new Desktops option will allow one PC to create desktops for different purposes and switch between them.
In the new operating system, the Microsoft Teams communication platform is integrated into the taskbar, which will allow you to instantly communicate with the addressee through correspondence, voice or video communication within Windows, as well as using a smartphone on Android or iOS.
The creators also introduced a new personalized news feed powered by artificial intelligence and Microsoft Edge. A screen with information of interest can be opened right on the desktop, while the personal news feed does not interfere with other tasks.
Also presented is the updated Microsoft Store, where you can find Android apps.
Highlighting that Windows 11 delivers the best PC gaming experience by offering Auto HDR, Direct Storage and access to the Xbox app to play great games with Xbox Game Pass.
