Microsoft Corporation officially presented a new version of its operating system Windows 11, online broadcast was conducted on the company's website.
The developers note that Windows 11 has become the largest OS update in the last decade, while retaining many of the principles of previous versions. For example, the interface design has changed, the Start menu has been moved to the center of the taskbar, next to it are the Search, Task List and Widgets icons.
The icons of the applications and services built into the system have received a redesign, meanwhile the windows of the programs have rounded corners, now they are located at some distance from the taskbar. In addition, the system now has shadows with animation, wallpapers and color schemes, system sounds have changed.
Users will now be able to arrange windows of running applications in a mosaic specially adapted for the layout of a particular screen.
Among other things, there is extended support for two or more monitors. In turn, company representatives declare a significant increase in performance and optimization of the operating system.
