Information appeared on the network about the plans of Microsoft's management to reward its employees who worked during the COVID-19 pandemic. Each such employee below the level of a vice president will be awarded a bonus of $ 1,500 (more than 100 thousand rubles).
In total, the IT giant intends to allocate $ 200 million for these purposes, writes CNBC. At the same time, there are payments and restrictions. For example, employees of Microsoft subsidiaries will not be able to apply for them. Among them were those who work at GitHub, LinkedIn, and Zenimax (Bethesda, id Software).
The bonus itself will be paid between July and August. It will be in addition to the five additional paid days off the Redmondians have already provided for their workers.
