An unknown man robbed former German Chancellor Angela Merkel while shopping in Berlin. Bild reports.
It is specified that the wallet was stolen from the ex-chancellor. It was in a bag that hung on a cart. Together with Merkel, her bodyguards were in the store. Later, she went to the local police station, where she wrote a statement.
Earlier it became known that Merkel decided to dedicate her pension to the creation of an autobiographical book. She plans to write it together with Beate Baumann, who previously served as her adviser.
The book will not talk about how Merkel's life went. Instead, the politician wants to describe how she made certain political decisions.
