German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that anti-vaccination in Germany and the EU will begin “in a few days” after the licensing of the vaccine by the European Medicines Agency, RIA Novosti reports.
It is reported that the decision on the admission of the drug will be made until December 29, after which supplies will begin to all European countries.
Also, the country's authorities today agreed on a lockdown, which will operate from December 16 to January 10, as previously proposed by the regional authorities.
Hairdressers and all shops except grocery stores will be closed in Germany from Wednesday. The sale of pyrotechnics and alcohol in public places will be prohibited until January 10.
In Germany, over the past day, 28,438 cases of coronavirus were recorded. In 24 hours, 496 patients with infection died. For the entire time of the pandemic in Germany, 1,300,516 cases of infection were detected, 21,466 patients died.
