Two space tourists will travel on Board the International space station (ISS) at the end of 2021. Their names are not yet known, they will be called at the beginning of the coming year. It is reported TASS with reference to the press service of the Roscosmos.
“According to the contract with [American] company Space Adventures, which specializiruetsya on space tourism, will start with two tourists,” — said the Corporation. It also noted that currently negotiations are underway with several other American companies about sending tourists into orbit.
Russia, together with Space Adventures has already sent tourists into space. In 2001, the first was Dennis Tito. During the existence of such programs in orbit were able to visit seven non-professionals. The last flight took place in 2009.
Earlier in the company Space Adventures revealed details of tourist flight to the ISS. The output of the layman in space will last about 90-100 minutes. It was assumed that this event will take place in 2023.
