Memory-storing brain cells created in France
In France, experts from the National Center for Scientific Research have come up with synthetic cells that can store memories. Artificial neurons are reported by Live Science.
It is planned that in the future cells will be built into a system of computers that will work on the principle of the human brain. Artificial neurons can store memories for a millisecond.
Scientists have created a physical prototype where cells transmit information to each other. The process takes place as in the real human brain.
Earlier, the first 3D primate brain map was created in China. The study will help to better understand the cause of neurodegenerative diseases.
