Russia will continue to demand that the West respect arbitrary "red lines" for help from Ukraine.

The threats of Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev about World War III are intended for an international audience.

This is stated in a new report from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

Recall that Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski hinted in an interview that the United States threatened to strike Russian military concentrations and forward positions in Ukraine if Russia used tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine. This prompted a reaction from Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, who threatened that a US strike on a Russian target in Ukraine would “start a world war.”

“Medvedev may be trying to highlight Sikorsky's statements as an escalation in order to kill the wedge between Poland and other NATO countries. Russian officials will likely continue to demand that the West respect arbitrary “red lines” regarding Western support for Ukraine in the face of continuous Russian Russian Russian alliances.”, especially at a time when the West continues to debate about granting Ukraine permission to use Western weapons to strike targets on Russian territory,” analysts suggest.

As previously reported, Putin's henchman Medvedev promised Warsaw a “portion of radioactive ash” during the world war.
