Russia will not accept an independent state “on its historical territories,” so the very existence of Ukraine will always be a reason for the resumption of hostilities.
This cynical statement was made by the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, ex-President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev in his Telegram channel.
Putin's loyal henchman and mouthpiece of the Kremlin openly named the true reason for the military aggression against Ukraine, emphasizing that the war will continue until Ukraine disappears as a state entity.
“The likelihood of a new contraction will persist indefinitely. Almost always,” wrote Medvedev.
According to him, “there is a 100% probability of a new conflict,” no matter what documents Western countries sign with the Ukrainian government. They say that neither association with the EU nor joining NATO will save Ukraine from a subsequent war. At the same time, Medvedev, being in obvious prostration, for some reason called the European Union and NATO “mythical”.
Medvedev predicts a new war “in both ten and fifty years,” confidently hoping that the Russian Federation itself will still exist then.
As previously reported, the UK has entered into a security agreement with Ukraine, which provides for 10 years of support, assistance in the event of a new attack, cooperation in the defense sector. It became the first such real document during a full-scale war for our state and opened the way to the signing of similar agreements with other international partners.
Recall that Putin’s henchman Dmitry Medvedev also said that the Kremlin will use nuclear weapons in the war with Ukraine if Kiev starts firing long-range Western missiles at launchers on Russian territory.
