Medical workers to be the first to vaccinate against COVID-19 at Russian military base in Tajikistan
The first batch of Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine was delivered to the 201st Russian military base in Tajikistan. A total of 1100 doses.
The first to receive the vaccination will be the medical workers of the military hospital, the command staff, as well as the soldiers and officers on duty. Family members of military personnel are also offered to be vaccinated.
“We plan to complete the introduction of the first component by January 20, and the introduction of the second component by February 11, 2021. Vaccination is carried out on a voluntary basis, with the registration of the voluntary consent of the military or civilian personnel for the administration of this vaccine, ”said the head of the 451st military hospital Damir Izhberdeev.
