There were six people on board the medical plane.
On Friday, January 31, at about 6:30 pm local time, a medical plane carrying a patient crashed near a shopping center in Philadelphia and caused a fire.
This was reported by the publication FoxNews.
There were six people on board the medical plane: a patient, a doctor, two passengers and crew members. The plane crashed after taking off from Northeast Philadelphia Airport while en route to Missouri.
After the crash, jet fuel was sprayed across the neighborhood, setting six homes and six cars on fire. Firefighters quickly contained the fire, and the situation is now under control. Emergency services continue to work at the scene of the disaster.
“So sad to see a plane go down in Philadelphia, PA. More innocent souls lost. Our nation is fully utilized. First responders are already receiving thanks for their great work. More to come. God bless you all,” tweeted US President Donald. Trump in Truth Social, FoxNews reports.
Philadelphia Mayor Sherelle Parker called on residents to pray during a press conference.
“We know there will be casualties in this region,” Parker noted.
Recall that on the evening of January 29, a plane crash occurred in Washington. An American Airlines plane with 60 passengers and four crew members on board collided in mid-air with an army Black Hawk helicopter, and then fell into the Potomac River.
