Media: Su-57 will be taught to control a group of drones
The latest aircraft of the fifth generation, the Su-57, will be able to control a group of small drones, the drones will be placed on its internal and external suspension. Representatives of the Russian aircraft industry reported this to RIA Novosti.
As the source clarifies the portal “Utro.ru”, specialists are already engaged in the development of the necessary onboard equipment and software with a simulation system, which will connect the UAV and the aircraft.
Inside the fighter there will be more than ten unmanned aerial vehicles performing the functions of reconnaissance and destruction of enemy targets. The interaction between the vehicles will be carried out both in conjunction with the Su-57 itself, and with each other.
The fighter will be able to drop drones near the enemy's air defense zone. Drones must disable enemy radars, damage their communications and attack air defenses.
The industry did not indicate which specific drone model was in question.
