Mayor of Zagreb Milan Bandic dies at death
The mayor of Zagreb, Milan Bandic, died of the consequences of a heart attack, RIA Novosti reports, citing the city administration.
Bandich was 65 years old. It is noted that the mayor of the Croatian capital was a popular politician and has always been a “friend of Russia”. A message from the city administration says that Bandic lived for his city and was Zagreb residents. He has been doing his job with “love and energy” for 21 years.
It is noted that in Zagreb, with the support of Bagdich, monuments to Pushkin, Yesenin and Gagarin appeared. In November 2018, the politician was awarded the Order of Friendship from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
