Mayor of Yerevan Hayk Marutyan was diagnosed with coronavirus infection COVID-19. Press secretary of the city administration Hakob Karapetyan announced this on Saturday.
“Yes, the mayor has a coronavirus,” RIA Novosti Karapetyan was quoted as saying.
According to him, the mayor will be on vacation for some time.
Earlier, the deputy of the State Duma of the III-V convocations, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Honored Scientist of Russia Sergey Kolesnikov, in an interview with the FAN, recalled the features of the coronavirus.
