On the territory of Russia, access to the w3bsit3-dns.com portal, which publishes news about mobile electronics, was restricted. This was reported on the Roskomnadzor website.
The message notes that the blocking occurred by the decision of the Moscow City Court. In its actions, Roskomnadzor referred to Federal Law No. 149-FZ “On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection” and its Art. 15.6 – permanent restriction of access to sites on the Internet.
According to the information in the Moscow City Court's filing cabinet, the court ruled on w3bsit3-dns.com at the end of March, it came into force on April 27. The lawsuit was filed by National Sports TV Channel LLC (legal entity of Match TV channel) against CloudFlare Inc. on the protection of copyright and (or) related rights on the Internet.
The decision of the Moscow City Court says that the “National Sports TV Channel” complained about the posting on the site w3bsit3-dns.com of the programs of the “Football 1” TV channel. The plaintiff demanded that the defendant stop “creating technical conditions” for the distribution of broadcasts, as well as restrict access to the site on an ongoing basis.
The court was provided with screenshots from the website pages on which video recordings of the programs were posted. The court did not establish who posted the information on the site. The defendant's representative did not appear at the court, did not provide a valid reason for failure to appear and did not petition to postpone the hearing. The defendant could appeal the decision within a month.
As a result, the court satisfied the claims, since the National Sports TV Channel is the owner of the exclusive rights to the programs of the Football 1 channel.
