The “Captain America” is back! Marc Marquez celebrates his seventh victory in Austin, the second triumph since his heavy fall. The number 93 got off to a dream start on the “rumble run” in Austin, leading the field from the first corner. In the course of the race, the Honda driver worked out a lead of more than four seconds (!), Which he managed confidently at the front.
Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo defended his championship lead in second place behind the Spaniard. Third place went to Francesco Bagnaia on his Ducati.
The next race on the program is the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Misano on October 24th. There World Cup leader Quartararo has the first chance to fix the title.
