In Russia, they tested five Marker percussion robots that operated in an autonomous group without human intervention.
This was reported to RIA Novosti by a source in the military-industrial complex. He said that a demo of a group of ground-based robotic systems was tested. It consisted of five Marker robotic platforms, of which three were on a wheeled chassis and two on a tracked one.
According to the source, the robots autonomously solved the tasks of distributing targets in a group, reaching optimal firing positions, independently responding to changes in the combat situation and exchanging target designations without human intervention.
Marker robots have successfully carried out reconnaissance thanks to the equipment and technical vision equipment installed on board.
” Due to aerial drones, the quantitative and qualitative indicators of reconnaissance are significantly increased ,” the source explained. It is reported that in the future tests are planned using an autonomous group of robots in conjunction with a group of unmanned aerial vehicles.
