Marc Márquez celebrates seventh victory at the US Grand Prix

The US Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, ended with a surprise: Marc Márquez celebrated his 58th MotoGP success on his Honda; it was the Spaniard's second of the current season after suffering the consequences of his injury for so long right upper arm struggled.

“I was able to implement my plan exactly. I wanted to start strong and push and then accelerate again when the tires wear out,” said Márquez after his seventh win in his eighth race in the USA. “In the end it was hard to keep my concentration, I was very tired.”

The French world championship leader Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) and his Italian rival Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) landed on the places. “And I was beginning to think that he wouldn’t risk everything given his World Cup chances,” said Marquez.

Falls in Moto3

The Moto3 race had previously been canceled twice after accidents. First Filip Salac fell after seven rounds, the 19-year-old Czech had to be treated and was taken to the Medical Center as a precaution.

After the restart there was the next crash with three men, the race was no longer started.
