Italian footballer Diego Sinagra, the son of the world champion in the Argentine national team Diego Maradona, was in intensive care. This was announced by journalist Tancredi Palmieri on his Twitter account.
At 34-year-old Synagra, complications began against the background of the coronavirus. Palmieri said that the athlete learned about the death of his father, while in a hospital bed from a certain employee of the “yellow newspaper” who tried to get a comment from the son of a famous football player. “Leave the guy alone,” – urged colleagues Palmieri.
Earlier it became known that 60-year-old Maradona died. In November, the former Argentina player was hospitalized with a cerebral hemorrhage, but was later discharged from the hospital. The death of the star of world football came in connection with a heart attack.
As a footballer, Maradona is known for his performances for Barcelona, Napoli and Newells Old Boys. As part of the Argentina national team, he became world champion in 1986. Considered one of the greatest players in football history.
Maradona acknowledged paternity only in 2016. Sinagra is famous for playing for the Italian beach soccer team. He also played for Serie D clubs.
