The plane damaged was an Airbus A319-111 operated by Volotea, which was scheduled to fly to Asturias, Spain. The company confirmed this, saying that a person who was not on board the plane was seriously injured.
We regret to confirm that flight V73511 from Bergamo to Asturias (BGY-OVD) was involved in an incident at Milan Bergamo airport at 10:35. One person, who was not on board the aircraft and not affiliated with the company, was seriously injured. All 154 passengers and 6 crew members are safe. A new flight is scheduled for 15:55, – Volotea reported.
