Holthus then read aloud the defendant's criminal history in court, which included “three felonies, multiple counts of domestic violence, robbery, attempted home invasion.”
“You have a lot to do, sir,” the judge told Redden.
The man's lawyer told the judge he believed his client would be able to successfully complete probation.
“I appreciate it,” the judge replied, “but I think it's time to try something else because I just can't with this story.”
A few seconds later, Redden shouted, “Fuck that bitch!” He ran towards the judge, jumped over the bench and attacked her. Redden knocked Holthus to the ground and both disappeared from view of the camera behind the bench.
