Witnesses captured on video the rescue of a child and father in the ocean.
During a Disney Dream cruise from the Bahamas to the United States, a father jumped into the ocean to save his daughter who fell off the Disney Dream cruise ship.

Witnesses said the child fell from the fourth deck of the ship while his father was taking a photo of him at the railing.
After the girl fell into the ocean, her father immediately rushed after her and jumped into the water. The ship's captain immediately raised the alarm about a man overboard and turned the ship around for a rescue operation.
Video taken by passengers shows the crew rescuing the father and daughter by lifting them onto a lifeboat. Witnesses say the boat remained in place for about 10 minutes while the rescue operation continued.
Passenger Laura Amador shared her impressions: “The ship was moving fast, so fast it was incredible how quickly people became tiny specks in the ocean and you just lose sight of them.”
Another passenger told an American CBS News correspondent that the captain slowed down, turned the ship around and sent a lifeboat with a crew to pick up the victims.
A Disney Cruise Line spokesperson confirmed that the crew performed a quick and professional rescue operation, with both passengers returned to the ship within minutes.
Passenger Gar Franz, who also witnessed the incident, described the incident as “crazy and terrifying”: “We saw my husband and daughter fall into the ocean and almost disappear over the horizon.”
