A man in Nantes, France, attacked with a saber police officers who had arrived on a riot call. One of the guards was injured, Le Figaro reports.
The incident took place on January 30th. According to the newspaper, a man with an unusual saber in his hands attacked the police immediately after they arrived and wounded one of them. The officer was wounded in the leg and groin area, he had ten stitches and was sent to hospital.
The attacker was detained and will be tried. According to preliminary data, he lost his temper during a family quarrel, as he was under the influence of alcohol and illegal psychoactive substances.
A day earlier, another bloody incident in France was reported: in Toulon, a box with a severed human head was thrown out of a window into the street. The police conducted a special operation in the area of the find and detained the suspect. The head supposedly belonged to a homeless man.
