In the Republic of Mali in northwest Africa, Malian Tuareg rebels said they had killed and wounded dozens of Wagner soldiers and mercenariesfor two days of fighting near the border with Algeria.

The rebel movement “Permanent Strategic Framework for Peace, Security and Development (CSP-PSD)” said that its fighters seized armored vehicles, trucks and tanks during fighting in the border town of Tinzaouaten on Thursday and Friday.
The Malian army reported that two of its soldiers were killed and 10 were wounded in the fighting.
At the same time, about 20 rebels were eliminated.
Telegram channels report that during the strike Tuareg rebels killed a propagandist in a Wagner column. It is noted that the propagandist with the call sign “White”, who was the author of a channel with more than half a million subscribers, died as a soldier.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, the channel “Grey zone” has been one of the most famous Z-channels, spreading hatred towards Ukraine. He was also an unofficial mouthpiece for the Wagner PMC.
Recall that in May 2021, a new coup d'état took place in the Republic of Mali in Africa: military personnel arrested the country's interim president Ba N'Dau and Prime Minister Moctar Ouane and transported them to the Kati military base near the country's capital Bamako.
Since then, the foreign policy of the country's leaders has changed its vector and instead of international assistance led by France, it is being relied on Russia, in particular, in the same year, Russia recognized Mali's request to send Russian mercenaries.
