Moscow. July 9. INTERFAX.RU – The organizers of the International Aviation and Space Salon at Zhukovsky MAKS-2021 are adjusting its programs to ensure the safety of guests and meet anti-epidemiological requirements in a pandemic, the airshow website reported.
Rospotrebnadzor has finally agreed on the rules of admission to the territory of accredited exhibition participants, specialists and members of official delegations. Visitors with tickets will be allowed to enter the QR code for the coronavirus vaccination. At the same time, the possibility of skipping unvaccinated viewers on a negative PCR test obtained in the last 72 hours is being discussed, the organizers added.
“Downloading information on the availability of a QR code or PCR test will be available to all visitors of the exhibition in the automated application management system on the MAKS salon website. You will need to download the information at least 24 hours before visiting the event,” the press release says.
The ticket and demonstration programs of the air show will be adjusted to prevent crowds of people, but at the same time to give visitors the opportunity to see the flight program and inspect the exposition. The organizers of MAKS-2021 reminded that the exhibition area can accommodate 200 thousand people.
“The demo program will be unified: flights on Wednesday and Thursday will be as spectacular and intense as on weekends. Single-entry tickets will be available from Wednesday. Business tickets remain on sale. Priority tickets are introduced, giving wide a set of additional services during a visit to the exhibition. Priority tickets can be purchased for any day, starting from Wednesday. Similar tickets were offered in previous years, “the organizers promised.
The general director of the air show, Alexander Levin, said through the press service that when preparing anti-epidemiological measures, the organizers consult with Rospotrebnadzor, regional authorities and take into account the Russian and world experience of holding large public events.
MAKS-2021 will be held from 20 to 25 July.
