An earthquake of magnitude 6 was recorded off the coast of Chile, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
It is noted that the epicenter of the disaster was 127 km from the city of La Serena.
The focus was located at a depth of 20 km.
Earlier, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 was recorded on Saturday in the Tasman Sea near the Fiji archipelago.
