Magnitude 4.0 earthquake hits Iran

Seismologists have registered a 4.0 magnitude earthquake in southern Iran. It is reported by the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

It is noted that the epicenter of the earthquake was 46 km from the city of Gerash.

The focus was located at a depth of 10 km.

Earlier, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 occurred off the coast of the South Sandwich Islands.
