He noted that in France, the number of daily reported cases of coronavirus and the number of patients with COVID-19 in intensive care are decreasing.
“The number of new cases … exceeded 60 thousand, and last week it was set at 20 thousand per day on average … The number of patients with COVID-19 in intensive care on November 16 was 4,900, today this number has dropped to 4,300. With this data, the peak of the second wave of the epidemic has passed, ”said Macron.
He also said that if the daily detected daily increase in cases of coronavirus infection decreases from December 15 in France, quarantine may be lifted, and the curfew may be lifted from January 20.
Shops will reopen in France on November 28.
