French President Emmanuel Macron has promised to step up the fight against radical Islamists in the country after the murder of teacher Samuel Pati in the suburbs of Paris. BFM.TV reports about it.
“I already said after the terrorist attack that we intend to further strengthen our actions in this direction. This is what all our fellow citizens expect, ”the French leader said during a speech in the Saint-Saint-Denis department.
According to Macron, in recent days, concrete action has been taken against associations that spread ideas of radical Islamism and destroy the country's principles. “Tomorrow, the Council of Ministers will disband the pro-Palestinian group of Sheikh Yassin, which was directly involved in the brutal murder of the teacher,” the French leader said.
The murder took place on the evening of October 16 in the city of Conflans-Saint-Honorine in the suburbs of Paris. The perpetrator – 18-year-old Chechen Abdulakh Anzorov – watched the teacher near the college, killed him and beheaded him. At the same time, he posted photos and videos from the crime scene on the network. Later, the terrorist was shot by police.
It is believed that Anzorov attacked Party after seeing the video on the network. On it, the father of one of the students condemned the teacher for showing the children a caricature of the Prophet Muhammad during the freedom of speech lesson. The video said in which educational institution this happened.
According to law enforcement officers, the killer was born in Moscow and at the age of six moved with his family to France, where he received the status of a political refugee. The Russian embassy in France has already stated that the killer had nothing to do with Russia and did not contact the diplomatic mission.
