French President Emmanuel Macron held talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, as well as with Kremlin head Vladimir Putin.

As specified on the website of the Elysee Palace, he called on Putin to “immediately stop shelling” of the civilian population and secure the main roads in Ukraine.

It is reported that Putin and Macron talked for 1.5 hours. The French President claims that the President of the Russian Federation “confirmed his readiness” to ensure that the ceasefire.

At the same time, it is specified that Macron spoke several times with President Vladimir Zelensky in recent hours.

Recall that in the area of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, negotiations between the delegations of Ukraine and the aggressor country have been ongoing for several hours.

Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President's Office, said that Ukraine's conditions in negotiations with Russia are a ceasefire and the withdrawal of all Russian troops from all territory of Ukraine, including Crimea.
