French President Emmanuel Macron called the condition for the abolition of quarantine in the country. RIA Novosti reports.
The head of state said that if in France by December 15 there will be about five thousand cases a day and about 2.5-3 thousand people in intensive care, the government may consider canceling the self-isolation regime and allow residents to move freely.
Macron also stressed that the peak of the second wave of coronavirus in the country has been overcome, and the number of cases of infection with the virus has recently dropped significantly.
Earlier, the President of France introduced a nationwide quarantine. Quarantine is valid throughout the country from October 30 to December 1. In France, public institutions, universities are closed, private meetings and meetings are limited. At the same time, kindergartens, schools, colleges and lyceums remain open, sanitary measures in them have been significantly strengthened.
