The National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Utilities fined Lvivoblenergo UAH 85,000. This happened because the company allegedly did not update the information on its website.

It is known that Lvivoblenergo does not yet plan to introduce new schedules for the supply of electricity. At the same time, according to the NEURC, the company updated the information in the section “Why there is no light” late. Actually, you need to do this every 30 minutes.

Lvovoblenergo's reaction to this situation

According to the decision of the NEURC, on the start and end time of the break electricity supply to consumers should be reported every half hour. That is, that 30 minutes, indicating the names of settlements, streets, houses, buildings, the Lvivoblenergo company must report whether this is a planned or emergency shutdown.

The company stated that one of the pages of this website has been functioning since August 2016. Since then, consumers have been able to find out the latest information about why there is no light.

We inform you that the page “Why there is no light” has been functioning since August 2016. Even then, consumers had the opportunity to find out the reasons for the lack of electricity and the time of restoration of power supply – they reacted to the fine in the company.

They also noted that information about outages is automatically displayed on the site thanks to technical support.

At the same time, Lvivoblenergo noted that with the help of their service, the user receives all the necessary information about the beginning and end of a power outage. This happens with the indication of the names of settlements, streets, houses and breaks.
