A network of bots in different countries of the world was used for the cyberattack.
On the night of February 26, a cyberattack was carried out on the website of the Russian state space corporation Roscosmos, which led to the cessation of its work.
This is reported by Russian publications with reference to the press service of Roskosmos.
The Russians blame Lviv hackers for this attack.
“The DDoS attack on the Roskosmos website was organized from Lviv and carried out using a network of bots that were hosted on servers in different countries of the world,” the report says.
Roscosmos said that the site has already been resumed. Moreover, the department claims that they have identified the organizer of the attack and transferred information about him to “competent authorities.” Information about the identity of this hero of the cyber war with Russia is not disclosed.
Recall that as a result of yesterday's cyberattack, a number of Russian state websites stopped working. Among them are the websites of the President of the Russian Federation, the government and the State Duma.
